Heat an iron to a medium setting with no steam and press the iron to the paper bag directly over the wax.
Remove wax stain from carpet.
Place a brown paper bag or card stock over the wax stain and keep a towel nearby to protect the rest of the carpet.
Like all stains the quicker you get to it the easier it will be to remove.
Once the wax stain is frozen use your knife to scrape off as much of the wax as you can.

Using heat rather than cold remove more candle wax and is the best method for candle wax removal.
